I have never gotten so burned out from school before. Lesson plans are definitely preferable to math any day, but i need a blog-break. We teach 8 lessons at North Elementary this semester. They are 45 minutes long each and today I was in charge of teaching about angles. The third graders are so presh. I have been questioning whether or not I really want to be a teacher, because sometimes it scares me to death to be in front of people. But when I'm in front of little kids, suddenly it becomes fun and I LOVE it. It is so much better than teaching my peers gospel doctrine. (although I'm starting to like that calling... shockingly)
Anyway, I am for sure going to do the Special Ed/Elementary Ed. dual major. I'm already this far, and if I want to do something different, I can always get my masters degree in something else. I'm really interested in graphic design/photography/art of any sort, psychology, family life and human development, nutrition, and I could go on and on. But right now I love my elementary students and I have always been obsessed with special ed. Yay for making a decision.
sorry this was a boring ramble blog. :)

Honey, you'll be a wonderful teacher. and I love you. And good job on making the decision.
Well if you're interested in all of those other things you might as well just major in everything. How cool would that be when you meet someone (i.e green shorts) and he says.."So uh, what are you majoring in?" When you can reply with, "Oh..I'm majoring in everything." Yep I think thats going to be my response from now on. Even though I am classified as an "Undecided" ... hmm haha. I love being blog friends, yes thank you.
P.S the "word verification" that makes sure I'm not a computer leaving you this comment is "phoweehe" it reminds me of Kendalls sometimes laugh haha
I am so excited for you! Enna! You will be an amazing teacher/artist/therapist/ what ever else you feel the need to do!
