I'm kind of a big deal in that way...
Once upon a time, I was in 2nd grade. One of my classmates accidentally stepped on my hand while I was sitting on the ground. My pinky was purple and bent for over a week. It hurt pretty bad. It healed, but still looked pretty messed up.
2 years later, for our 4th grade bowling trip, the same girl accidentally smashed my other pinky between 2 bowling balls. ouch. It also remained purple and bent for even longer than the other pinky. My doctor said he could re-break it or just let it heal by itself. Would you let someone purposely break your thumb... again? Me neither.
That is why my pinkies are so beautifully perma-crippled.
I sometimes wonder if my elementary friend remembers this story.
